I just wanted to drop a line about our great trip to Mykonos this weekend! It was my first wedding shooting on this famouse island and I am absolutely looking forward to come back there!

We were lucky to see Mykonos with all types of weather (from sunny and crystal clear sky to dramatic clouds full of water  and I have to say that Mykonos looked very handsome & photogenic in all the colors and moods!

I can’t wait to share with you photos I took there!Stay tuned!

Leaving you for now and going to pack my suitcase – flying to Santorini tomorrow morning!

They stole my heart!

It was so easy to fall in love with them From our first Skype calls to our first breakfast meeting in Santorini: I knew that it was going to be a lot of fun!

They were so open to my ideas, so trusting in everything, it made me excited and I wanted to do the best I can for these two

The phrase “love is in the air” describes perfectly the way Nicole and Wayne are, their love is overwhelming and so sweet that I was constantly missing my hubby while looking at them.

First we had a wonderful walk in Oia and after headed to the beach side. The weather was brilliant, even though the forecast wasn’t very optimistic for that day. The ceremony was held on Dana Villas’ terrace (of course during the sunset time and it was timeless and full of peace and serenity as the sun was almost touching the horizon, leaving a warm fading light on their faces. It was just the two of them, facing each other over the top of the breathtaking Caldera. So intimate and honest… Just like this, after 3 years being together, Nicole and Wayne decided to exchange their vows and make to each other this beautiful gift in Greece!

But the story doesn’t finish here: later on, we were having dinner at the “oh-so-romantic’ Sphinx restaurant where we got caught by the rain, no, I can’t even call it just rain, it was a “shower rain” with thunder and lighting! We heard from some local people in the restaurant that they have never seen anything like that in Santorini before. And here we were: sitting there, wrapping ourselves in blankets and sipping digestive drinks;) Such lovely memories I have from this special day. Thank you so much Nicole and Wayne!

Taking photos of people in love is something I will never give up doing, this is what I was thinking about when our day together was over.

I wish you to love each other FOREVER the same way you love each other now!

I love kids photography!!!  It is like a big piece of chocolate cake for my imagination!

I just read about this wonderful idea for wedding decoration and fall in love with it imiddiately… Glad to share it with you if you haven’t heard yet about  Papel Picado !

Papel picado (“perforated paper”) is a decorative craft made out of paper cut into elaborate designs. Although it is a Mexican folk art, papel picado is used as a holiday decoration in many countries. The designs are commonly cut from tissue paper using a guide and small chisels, creating as many as forty banners at a time. 

I am sure you gonna love it too! This technique reminds me so much a lace of a bridal gown…! I think Papel Picado just meant to be a wedding decor element!!!
